| Information |  The Windsor Bluefins are a competitive summer swim team for ages 5-18. They offer a daily training program at the Hants Aquatic Centre designed to enhance your child’s speed and technique in swimming. There are also (optional) competitive meets each weekend at various clubs from Kentville to Halifax. Their focus is on fitness and fun! Swimmers are in the water for 1-2 hours daily, depending on their age and skill level. Older swimmers also take part in dry-land training as part of the overall program. Swimmers learn all four competitive strokes as well as turns and dives; new members must be able to swim one length of the pool unassisted – they’ll teach them the rest!! |
