Information Active Start is 2-6 and Fundamentals is 7-14 
 
Special Olympics is a non-profit organization which provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with an intellectual disability.  
 
Active Start is designed to allow young children (ages 2 to 6) to develop play, walking, swimming, running, jumping and balancing skills through movement and physical activity. Educational information and resources are also provided to caregivers, so that the skills learned in Active Start can continue at home.  
 
Fundamentals is designed for children ages 6 and older enjoy physical activity while developing the fundamentals of movement skills such as running, throwing, catching, kicking and hitting. Fundamentals can help encourage children to lead healthy lives through sport.
