| Information |  The Strait Pirates have been in operation since 1965 and is the longest running Junior B franchise in Nova Scotia. Pirate players enjoy many perks while with the team, such as the following: - New state of the art arena the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre - Team supplied gear - No fees to play for the team - Team bus (Pirate Ship) will take you where you need to go, for games and practices - Team meal or food allowance for road games - Quality coaching staff - Excellent executive, who manage the team like a professional club - 30 minutes from St. Francis Xavier University - 5 minutes from Nova Scotia Community College - Strait Area Campus - 80 minutes from Cape Breton University - The strong tradition of the Strait Pirates, wear the jersey with pride!   |
