Description & Services

Information NS Golden Retriever & Friends Rescue is a volunteer run animal rescue. We rescue any breed of dog. We are foster based, meaning we do not have a shelter. All dogs live in our foster's home until the perfect match for the dog is found. Most dogs come to NSGRR directly from owners who have chosen to give up their dogs due to allergies, divorce, or death or because they didn't give enough thought to ownership and find themselves unprepared for the level of responsibility required. NSGRR also occasionally helps dogs that have been removed from abusive environments or that have been found as strays. NSGRR is dedicated to educating the public, in general, about pet ownership.
