Information | This woodland trail follows the River Phillip offering scenic views of the river. The trail passes through a variety of forest environments and a few limestone sinkholes, and passes by settling ponds active with deer and bird life. Length: 2.4 km loop, plus 2.4 km return from Big Blueberry Time: expect 75 minutes to do the loop Permitted uses: hiking, snowshoeing, dogs on leash Reliable cellphone reception Trail access: Access the Bunny Trail from one of two locations along the Great Trail (Short Line Trail) in Oxford: A) Park at the Irving or behind the Parkview Inn. Walk to the Big Blueberry and down the hill. Stay left (east) toward the Great Trail. At the Great Trail turn left (east) and cross the red bridge. Continue about 100 m to the Bunny Trail trailhead on the left and well marked. B) Alternate parking and access is on Water Street at the junction of the Great Trail. Head west toward the TransCanada highway on the Great Trail. Continue 500 m to the Bunny Trail entrance.
