| Information |  Every year, to mark the beginning of the shopping season in Downtown Kentville, and to get in the holiday mood, hundreds of Kentville residents come out to take part in the annual Torchlight Event and Skating Party! Residents gather at the Recreation Centre at 6:00pm for the annual countdown/tree lighting. There is a visit from Santa along with hot apple cider and candy canes! There is a free public skate and hot chocolate at the Kentville Centennial Arena from 7:00-8:30pm Come be part of the magic in Downtown Kentville this holiday season!
