Description & Services

Information Since 1978, Small World Learning Centre has existed to develop and deliver Early Childhood Educational programs that engage mind, body and spirit through partnerships with children, staff, families and our community. Our child care centre was designed and built for children in 2007 and a new addition constructed in 2016,  
 
We offer a bright, spacious indoor and outdoor learning environments and offer the world renowned Reggio Inspired curriculum. We have a large natural playground and are adjacent to trails and woods. Our Educators are qualified Early Childhood Educator's that are dedicated to staying current by taking workshops; collaborating with other professionals and advocating for quality child care. At our York St. facility, we offer: 
Toddler Program: 
Ages 18 months to 3 years 
Monday-Friday 7:30a.m. - 5:30 p.m. 
Full week or part week (M/W/F or T/T) 
 
Full Day Pre-School Program: 
Ages 3 years to 5 years 
Monday-Friday 7:30a.m. - 5:30 p.m. 
Full week or part week (M/W/F or T/T) 
 
Part Day Preschool Program: 
Ages 3 to 5 years 
5 mornings per week or M/W/F or T/T mornings 
From: 9:00 am to 12:00 p.m. 
 
Before School Program 
For children: Grade Primary to 12 years 
7:30 am. Our Educators walk the children to school. 
 
After School Program 
For children: Grade Primary to 12 years 
Pick up at Bridgewater Elementary School (also bus students from other schools) 
2:15 to 5:30 
Full days for school age offered during Bridgewater Elementary closures: in-service, embedded, Christmas and March Break. 
 
Summer Day Camp Program 
For children who will start grade Primary in the fall to 12 years 
7:30 to 5:30
Eligibility Ages: 1.5 year(s) - 5 year(s)
Hours 7:30 am to 5:30 p.m.
