Description & Services

Information Little Eagles Daycare Centre is for children ages 1 to 4 years old. The centre also provides seats for pre-school on a part-time basis if space is available. 
 
The staff are trained on a regular basis to maintain a quality program under the supervision of the Mi’kmaq Employment and Training Secretariat (METS) and in consultation with other daycares. They are also trained in First Aid and C.P.R. 
 
The Daycare Centre has a Mi’kmaq elder, Marie Francis, who comes in twice a week to provide Native Studies and Mi’kmaq language with the children. 
 
Meals and snacks provided to the children are based on the Canada Food Guide.  
 
The daycare facilities can accommodate a maximum of 20 children. Due to the limited spacing, the Daycare staff will review and accept children as spaces become available.  
 
Outside of the daycare's hours, the playground is available for public use.
Eligibility Ages: 1 year(s) - 4 year(s)
Hours Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm 
Friday: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
