Description & Services

Information This scenic route, designed with family in mind, will take you from the historic community of Milton along the majestic Mersey River to the picturesque Liverpool waterfront. The journey begins at the beautiful Tupper Park and continues downstream for approximately 4 km to the waterfront park located on the southern shore of the river. From here the traveler may stretch their legs by touring the downtown sites, picnicking at Privateer Park or planning another adventure at the nearby South Queens Visitor Information Centre. 
 
Notes & Precautions: 
Beware of sudden changes in current and water level due to tidal action and the regulation of water by Nova Scotia Power Hydro Dams. Also take note that the Mersey River is an all access river, so be prepared to encounter motor craft.
