Description & Services

Information The role of Row NS is to promote rowing in Nova Scotia.
Halifax Rowing Club is located on the Northwest Arm. Athletes need to be able to climb two flights of stairs (there is a good hand rail) to get to the water. North Star Rowing Club has provided a home for the sport of rowing in Dartmouth for over 80 years.
Para rowing provides people with physical disabilities the opportunity to be active on the water, get involved in a fun and friendly club environment, and participate in a variety of competitions. Para rowing is suitable for a wide range of persons with a disability, including but not limited to spinal cord injury; amputations; visual impairment; cerebral palsy; spina bifida, and intellectual disabilities including Autism, Down Syndrome, and hearing impairments.

COVID-19 Response and updates: Row Nova Scotia provides online activities and connections to resources through their Facebook Page and website, including webinars and challenges.
