Camp Geddie is owned and operated by the Synod of the Atlantic Provinces of The Presbyterian Church in Canada and is accredited by the Camping Association of Nova Scotia.

Located at 3555 Old Shore Road, in Ponds, just past Merigomish on Highway #245, approx. 18 kms from the 104 Trans Canada Highway, the features of our site include a wide, sandy beach, seven sleeping cabins, the Irwin Lodge, which also serves as the dining hall, a craft/rainy day recreation building, wash house with hot showers and flush toilets, a nurses cabin/first aid station, and an outdoor chapel.

The site affords ample opportunity for canoeing, hiking, sports and much more.

The Camp Geddie trail system was developed as a result of activities that take place at the camp.

There is a newly constructed gazebo overlooking the water and an outdoor chapel as well.

The surrounding saltwater marshland is a truly unique ecosystem that promotes biodiversity. If you are a bird watcher there are several different species and great locations to get photos.
