| Information |  NATURE AT ITS BEST! Kempt Shore Ocean View Campground is a twenty acre site in Kempt Shore, Hants Co. Nova Scotia with 800 feet of sandy beach frontage on the beautiful Minas Basin at the mouth of the Avon River. The site is the home to the Kempt Shore Festivals held the third weekend of July and August. We offer water/electric sites, hundreds of un-serviced sites, flush toilets, free hot showers and dump station. Enjoy breath taking views and sunsets. There is a health clinic across the street, a quarry lake two minutes away and striped bass surf fishing from the beach. We can accommodate tours, groups, weddings and private functions who want a back to nature type of experience.  Driving directions: from Halifax, on Hwy. 101, exit #4 then right off the ramp to Hwy. 215 to Brooklyn and Walton, follow the 215 along the shore to Kempt Shore to Peterson's Festival Campground. From Windsor follow Hwy. 14 to Brooklyn then pick up Hwy. 215 at the monument at village centre and follow Hwy. 215 east to Kempt Shore and Kempt Shore Ocean View Campground (civic address: 5701 Hwy 215, Kempt Shore, Nova Scotia) Business hours: by reservation by phone or e-mail Business season: June 1st– September 30th Service in English Visit the webpage or call for all information.  |
