| Information | The Woodchip Trail is located in Millbrook, NS. It passes through a forested area of spruce, hemlock and fir that contains many species of birds, squirrels, rabbits, porcupines, foxes and deer. The old rifle range use to be near the end of the trail, however, it is now overgrown by alders. This trail is managed and maintained by Millbrook First Nation Band Office with assistance from the Mi'kmaw Conservation Group. Length: approximately 700 m Type: linear Trail Surface: dirt path, gravel and crusher dust, wooden steps, boardwalk and footbridge Permitted Use: Walking ACCESS: Highway 102, Exit 13, turn right onto Abenaki Road. Continue onto Abenaki Road at the fork. Continue onto Brooks Lane. Turn left onto Willow Street (NS Trunk 2 N). Turn right onto Church Road. The trailhead is at the end of the road beside the cemetery. |
