Description & Services
Information | Active Adventure for Girls is a girls-only after school program for students at Shelburne Regional High School and Lockeport Regional High School. The program runs in the Fall each year at SRHS and the Spring for LRHS and is FREE for participants. The goal is to get girls active and expose them to the different physical activity opportunities within their community. The program runs for 6-8 weeks and each week the girls participate in a different sport or physical activity. Some for the activities that have been done in the past include skateboarding, kickboxing, tennis, yoga, golf, kayaking, beach volleyball, gymnastics, dance, canoeing and archery. This program is sponsored by Province of Nova Scotia. |
