| Information | Learn from local grape growers how you too can grow grapes! Topics include site selection, soil testing, grape varieties, vineyard management, economics of grape growing, and organic grape growing with lots of visuals, discussion and time to ask questions. Suitable for anyone interested in knowing more about starting a vineyard, those already growing grapes, or for general interest. A tour of a vineyard will be set up for a later date. Presenters – Andre d’Entremont, Cape House Vineyard, Bruce Wright, Elmwood Winery, Judith Orr and Dan Thimot, Union Square Vineyards. For more information, contact the recreation department. |
