Information | The Bay St. Lawrence Volunteer Fire Department are proud to have their Annual CrabFest and Fishing Derby every year for over 25 years. This is one of the oldest Crab Festivals in Nova Scotia, celebrating the start of the Local Snow Crab season. All children in the Fishing Derby receive a prize. Some prize categories include; 1. Biggest Fish 2. Smallest fish 3. Prettiest and Ugliest fish 3. Oldest/Youngest Fisherman and Fisher-woman Just to name a few! Contact Patsy for more information if you want to join in the fun or Volunteer to help make the Crabfest a success. Come out to enjoy our beautiful scenery, lovely community, and delicious food! |
