Description & Services

Information The Ingonish Triathlon is a unique sporting event that occurs in Northern Cape Breton, one of the most beautiful regions of Canada, if not the world! It has a swimming leg in pristine freshwater lake adjacent to the ocean, a cycling route that follows the world famous Cabot Trail, and a running route that climbs to cliffs that look across at Cape Smokey. Previous participants, from seasoned vets to enthusiastic sprint distance teams, have raved about the fantastic atmosphere of our triathlon. We have a gorgeous venue, dedicated & energetic volunteers, a delicious post race BBQ (hosted by the Keltic Lodge), and a Celtic mystique that only the Cape Breton Highlands can offer.
