| Information | The Annapolis Valley Shooting Sports Club (AVSSC) is located in the beautiful Annapolis Valley region of Nova Scotia. Our Mission: The Annapolis Valley Shooting Sports Clubs mission is to provide a safe, recreational shooting experience for its members and guests. To promote the shooting sports and offer shooting opportunities for new and experienced shooters through education, instruction and events. The AVSSC serves all 5 of the shooting disciplines; Archery, Black Powder, Handgun, Rifle and Shotgun, plus each disciplines' many subsections. With an indoor 20yd range that can accommodate archery, 22 rimfire rifle and handguns in handgun calibers up to and including the 44 Magnum; the AVSSC is open 24 / 7 to it's members. With the 100m baffled range for rifle shooting and the 25m baffled handgun range, members can shoot outside as weather permits (during daylight hours). Avid shotgun shooters have 2 skeet fields and a trap field to use year round; plus a sporting clay course set up on a monthly basis. Archery has a 90m outdoor range, a 3-D field course and several bag courses that enable them to sharpen their skills. |
| Hours | All of the outdoor firearms ranges are available to start shooting 8:00am Mon - Fri, and 9:00am Sat/Sun; all firearms shooting will cease at sunset but no later than 8pm. The indoor range is available to shoot 7days / week x 24hrs / day |
