Information Promoting the sport of Football in the Annapolis Valley: helping players to reach their highest potential in the classroom, the community and the field. 
 
The Valley Minor Football Association is a Youth Football Association fielding youth teams and offering year round programs in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. 
 
 
Future Bulldogs and Bulldog Parents, 
 
Football is considered a late entry sport. Athletes have begun their playing careers without prior experience at all levels (even the CFL and NFL). It is never too late to start playing football. Nor is anyone too small to tryout. There is a position on the field for players of every shape and size. Valley Minor Football only uses the safest and most current equipment. We arguably have the best group of coaches and volunteers in Nova Scotia. 
 
Valley Minor Football offers 4 levels of competition.  
VMF has High School and NSVFL affiliations for our graduates. 
 
Bulldogs: 
 
Mites: Ages 6, 7 and 8 
Atoms: Ages 9 and 10 
Peewee: Ages 11 and 12 
Bantam: Ages 13, 14 and 15** 
 
**Teams can carry only six (6) 15 year olds per season 
 
Affiliates: 
 
High School (NSSAF): Grades 9 through 12
