| Information |  We're a non profit association committed to supporting and growing mountain biking in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley. Mission: We are a group of dedicated volunteers working to build and maintain sustainable trails in the Annapolis Valley and act as a positive voice for Mountain Biking. As an organization, we organize/support programs and events that promote recreational and competitive mountain biking for all ages and abilities. AVMBA Goals: The AVMBA emphasizes partnerships with like-minded community groups to create opportunities to reach the following goals: • Build, maintain and promote sustainable, multi-use trails for non-motorized users, that meet the guidelines of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) • Provide safe mountain biking infrastructure (trails, race courses, skills parks) that supports accessibility to cyclists of all skill levels • Develop and provide programming and events that promote skills development, physical activity, cycling safety, leadership, and environmental stewardship • Contribute to the positive economic and social culture of cycling in the Annapolis Valley that is enjoyed by locals and attracts tourism opportunities  |
