Description & Services
Information | The “Nicholsville Rugrats” is a group of men and women who joined together to form a rug hooking group in Nicholsville, Nova Scotia. The group meets every Tuesday morning from 10am to 12pm in the Nicholsville Community Hall to hook, chat and share ideas on rug hooking. The group has no annual fees but use a free will donation to pay for hall rental, rug hooking supplies, magazines and books. Over the past five years the group has managed to purchase a Bolivar wool cutter, many magazines, books, DVDs, yards of wool and linen for the members. The group has arranged numerous rug hooking courses which covered such topics as shading, dyeing and rug design. If you would like to learn rug hooking or you're a rug hooker in need of a place to hook come and join us, we’d love to have you, everyone welcome. For more information on the RugRats or the Basic Hooking Course, contact Valerie Despres at the contact information noted above. |
