Description & Services
Information Friends of the Pugwash Estuary is a volunteer, non-profit organization which operates and maintains a nature conservancy and an outdoor interpretive centre in order to preserve, maintain, and educate the public about the estuary's ecosystem and environment. They host tours and guided hikes, attend public speaking events, and publish public media articles and other printed materials. They work with other Canadian charities and public authorities to protect, preserve, monitor and guide the stewardship of the environment and resources of the Pugwash Estuary.
