Description & Services

Information This National Wildlife Area features a 3.75 km loop trail following the diked wetlands. There are many species of birds to be observed, as the area is important for breeding and migrating waterfowl and songbirds. Wallace Bay National Wildlife Area is a shared use area. Humane methods of hunting, fishing, and trapping are permitted during the scheduled seasons. The wearing of blaze orange during hunting seasons is strongly advised. Other permitted uses include cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
