Information Saturday, May 12, 2018, starting at 10AM is the fourth annual First Lake Trout Fishing Derby.  
 
The lake will be freshly stocked with hungry trout just before the event starts...First Lake is located in Lequille on Highway 8, across from the Hwy 101 Exit 22 commuter parking lot.  
 
The event is open to all ages (with adult supervision for young anglers), and registration is free!!!  
 
There are great prizes to be awarded for the best catches, and canoes are allowed (PFDs are of course mandatory, and canoes must be portaged in from the main entrance and launched from the primary registration area).
