| Information |  ARCAC Mandate: *To coordinate the arts resources in the Annapolis Region and to act as a focus for local arts talent and expertise; *To foster an appreciation and understanding of the arts through community oriented programs and the initiation of creative opportunities; *To give the community access to the arts professionals working in the area and elsewhere and to foster the continued development and expansion of the community's involvement in and knowledge of the arts; *To broaden and generate revenue opportunities for the region's practicing artists and to develop and maintain ARTsPLACE as a regional arts centre. As a gallery, ARTsPLACE is dedicated to the presentation, development, and promotion of professional, contemporary art. Volunteer Opportunities As we all know, volunteers are the driving force behind any successful community organisation, and ARCAC is no exception. People often have specific areas where they would feel comfortable offering a bit of their time. Volunteers will be contacted on an as needed basis.
