|Information||Have you ever dreamed of running on the exposed ocean floor at low tide? Run or walk with us along the coast of Five Islands, Nova Scotia, Canada.
The annual Not Since Moses is a 10k run or 5k walk with 100, 500 and 1000m runs through the mud for kids.
Not Since Moses gives runners a chance to run on the Bay of Fundy's ocean floor, through mudflats, sand, and tide pools. The 5 km run starts and finishes at Sand Point, while the 10 km run starts at Soley Point and finishes at Sand point. For safety and legal reasons, walkers are permitted to do the 5 km only, as the risk of being cut off by the rapid incoming tide is too high.
There is also the Basket Run for children: 500 metres for kids 12 and under, and 100 metres for ages 3 and under.
Registration can be completed online, or by mail. Details can be found here. Registration is also available Saturday Jul 14 2018 at the Five Islands Lighthouse Park and on the day of the run at Five Islands Ballfield
Volunteers are always needed and welcome- please contact them directly for details.
