| Information | Dorje Denma Ling is a non-profit Shambhala Program Centre, hosting group retreats that foster a more awake, kind and caring culture. Non-religious professional development programs are available for school teachers, health professionals, artists, social entrepreneurs, activists, and leaders. Workshops on sustainability and social transformation, introductory and advanced Shambhala and Buddhist programs, and social celebratory gatherings are some of the ways the centre can be utilized. There are family programs, summer camps and youth programs available. Their facilities are available to rent for group retreats, contemplative training program, yoga or meditation workshops. Their collaborative learning programs bring together like minded people, who are concerned about the environment, and passionate about creating sane society, a society that promotes basic goodness, courageous compassion and respect for each other and for the world. Dorje Denma Ling’s core staff resides on-site, living and practising those principals, while hosting and serving a diversity of programs and guests. They invite interns and volunteers into our community, where they can deepen their personal practice, skills and experience and train in working for social transformation. Visitors can enjoy the natural environment, space, the vast views and open sky, – a place to slow down, stop and fully relax. They have contemplative walking trails, running trails, and near by waterfalls and beaches. |
