Description & Services

Information The Brookfield Men's Club, which promotes community enhancement and fellowship, is open to all men of the area. They support the Historical Train Station's annual event at the Brookfield Wetlands and Walking Trails "Fisharama" by having the barbecue. Several community projects originated in the club. The Men's Club started "The Eagle"- a newsletter that was started in the 1940's for the troops in the war; they also sent care packages to people serving overseas. They also contributed to sidewalk construction on Highway 289, the Centennial Playground, streetlights and designations, sewage treatment, fish stocking in Trenholm's Lake, and tree plantings. They fund the Citizenship Award at South Colchester Academy, and the Eagle Award for the area's top citizen. They also host an Annual Ladies Night, where the club honors women of the area with dinner and entertainment.
Meetings Meetings are held in September to May, and are on the third Monday of the month at 7:30 pm.
