| Information | Opportunity Farm offers equestrian lessons, camps, clinic, boarding and training. Lessons Lessons are available from a EC certified coach with well rounded experience in all levels of students. Riders begin in half hour private lessons and can move into an hour group lessons once they can walk, trot and steer on their own. This is an individual process and depends on the student. All riders have different goals and therefore have different programs. Some want only to be comfortable working around and riding a horse, others have much grander plans. Camps Summer day camps are held during July and August. Riders ride twice a day and look after the daily needs of the horse. Practical lecture topics depend on the level of riders in the camp. Clinics Occasionally, off property clinics are available. Boarding There are a full slate of boarders at Opportunity Farm, but occasionally, stalls are available. Training Some horses are accepted for training, or Opportunity Farm is able to advise on an appropriate trainer for your needs. |
