Information | The Cape Breton Bowmen Association was established in the Industrial Cape Breton area in the mid-seventies, where it held the Canadian National Target and Field Championships in 1978. The club has a well established past which includes many accomplishments by its members in both the regional and national stage. At present we are a club which embraces all forms of archery from bowhunting to Olympic style target archery. We are devoted to developing the sport and enhancing public knowledge. We also encourage anybody to participate and welcome them into our club. We are active in the community providing demonstration especially to interested boy scout groups with whom we work closely with. We have weekly shooting nights/gatherings which change depending on the season. Our membership year to year is around 40 to 50 members strong. |
