Nestled down at the very end of Desbarres Street (in Sydney’s Northend) was a neglected and uninviting community space. It is a space, however, that had incredible potential and many fond memories from days gone by.

On September 8, 2012, 150 volunteers came together to build a park that any community would be proud of, a park that would inspire people to gather, community members to reach for new limits, and most of all, let kids be kids.
