The Barrington Municipal Library will encompass the traditions of public libraries while embracing the changing technologies of our world. This location offers book club, LEGO club, book loan mailing and other virtual programming!  
 
Barrington joined Western Counties Regional Library in January 1970. The first library branch opened on November 30, 1981.  
 
The new Barrington Municipal Library was built and the branch relocated to the new building on August 2, 2006.
Hours Tuesday 10:00 - 5:00 
Wednesday 12:30 - 5:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 
Thursday 12:30 - 5:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 
Friday 12:30 - 5:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 
Saturday 10:00 - 2:00
