| Information | The purpose of this cooperative partnership amongst six municipalities in Pictou County is to educate and motivate all citizens to increase their daily physical activity in an effort to create a happier, healthier and active community. The brand Active Pictou County was created as the driving force for this purpose. Active Pictou County staff assist with a variety of projects that promote physical activity on a regional level; such as after school programs, trail development, active transportation and improving access to programs and services.  |
