Description & Services

Information Caribou-Munroes Island is a mile long sandy beach offering some of the warmest saltwater swimming in all of Canada! It’s one of the best places in the region to catch the sunset as it falls into the Northumberland Strait. The campground provides excellent opportunities for camping, or just appreciating nature.

Attractions include an open picnic area, a white-sand beach, warm saltwater swimming, woods and 95 overnight campground sites.

Caution: Keep an eye on the tide if you plan to walk all the way around the point. At higher tides, parts of the shoreline hike are impassable.
