| Information |  Sam's Woodland Tours is located on a family owned woodlot in Upper Branch, Nova Scotia. Participants will be taken on a guided tour through the woods, where we will identify edible and medicinal plants, as well as deciduous and coniferous trees. Along the way, we will also discuss historical aspects of forestry as well as this particular woodlot. The woodlot is home to a healthy bird and mammal population, so during the tour we should be able to observe animal tracks and sign. If we are fortunate, we may see some animals in their natural habitat. Tours are approximately two hours long. This may vary depending on the amount of people on the tour. The tours cost $20 per adult and $10 for children under 16 (cash only please) a minimum of two people is required. Tours must be booked in advance. For more information please check out my website. |
