Description & Services

Information This trail is part of the Gully Lake Trail System of wilderness hiking trails. Hikers are advised to read and consider the Cobequid Eco-Trails Society's Trail Users' Checklist before heading into the Gully Lake Wilderness Area. The Yellow Birch Trail is a 0.85 km one-way (linear) soil footpath leading to some of the other trails in the system. Access this trail directly from the Kemptown Road trail head/parking lot. It is a great short hike or a connector to longer routes. It follows through a hardwood forest with wild flowers, mosses, lichens and bridges across small brooks.
